Rev. Fr. Thomas Vettuvelikunnel was appointed as the first Director of Family Apostolate on 1 ih May 1973. One of the main contributions of this Movement, i.e. the marriage preparation course was stalied at the time of the second Director Rev. Fr. Jose Alenchery
